Comic Book Illustrator Needed for Collaboration! - Contract to Hire
Hey everyone, I’m a screenwriter that’s had a well received script for a number of years now, but admittedly it would’ve been very expensive to film and so it’s been languishing for most of the time since. However, as a long time fan of comic books and graphic novels, I finally decided to take the leap and tackle a new format. It’s a thriller about a ruthless, violent vigilante that defends a small national park in Nairobi, Kenya from any poachers or hunters that dare enter. His brutal actions end up having global consequences for governments and transnational corporations. The whole story for a first arc (the initial film script) has been more or less fleshed out and I’ve just finished writing the comic book script for a 24pg first issue….after spending some time acquainting myself with the new format. Initial plans are for the first arc to last 6-10 issues. The initial aim and job will be to get a cover page and the first 5 pages done to submit to Image Comics for potential publishing. If successful, you will be retained for the rest of the issue and future issues where all profits will be split 50/50 in lieu of continual payment. Looking forward to hearing from you!
