Our company values diversity and perspectives, and we encourage anyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply. **Job Responsibilities** As an Experienced Data Protection & Privacy Analyst, you will be responsible for: * Analyzing and implementing data protection and privacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations * Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to protect sensitive data * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop secure and compliant technology solutions * Providing expert advice and guidance on data protection and privacy best practices * Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of data protection and privacy * Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors * Participating in the development and implementation of data protection and privacy training programs * Conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field * 3+ years of experience in a STEM-associated field, with a focus on data protection and privacy * A deep understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, including local, national, and international regulations * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management and stakeholders * Ability to work in a dynamic environment to strict deadlines, with the potential to handle multiple tasks concurrently * Must be legally eligible to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship * Reliable, punctual attendance is a critical aspect of this role **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: * CISA certification * Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security * Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles * Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles * Ability to interpret noncompliance to determine its impact on levels of risk and/or average effectiveness of the company's cybersecurity program * Hands-on experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and product capabilities **Work Environment and Company Culture** At blithequark, we offer a dynamic and inclusive work environment that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
