Innovation Communication Intern: A Unique Opportunity to Grow and Make an Impact As part of our Summer 2024 internship program, we're offering a three-month remote internship opportunity for exceptional students and recent graduates to explore a career in the international relief and development sector. The Innovation Communication Intern will join our Innovation Team, contributing to the development of a strong innovation communications foundation and bringing fresh ideas to our current work. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Copywriting and content editing to develop creative content, documentation, and press releases about innovation projects in World Vision. Visual Storytelling: Design and development of graphics, visually compelling reports, and short videos to be featured on various channels. Research and Capacity Building: Research on relevant topics to collect key reports and materials, and organize and share them on staff platforms for capacity building. Social Media Strategy: Development of social media strategy and creation of posts – written, graphics, and videos. Essential Qualifications: Able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week for the entire internship period (20 May – 16 August 2024). Eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen/resident/F1-student visa) with a valid U.S Social Security Number. Physically located in one of the eligible states where WVI is registered as an employer. Current or recent graduate from an undergraduate program (within 2 years) in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related fields. Adherence to World Vision International's Christian Statement of Faith. Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices. Preferred Qualifications: Video editing experience. Experience in writing, graphic design, and Microsoft Office Suite. Comfortable working as part of a virtual and global team. Passionate about using your God-given talents to positively impact children.
