CareSource is a management services company offering a 12-week paid summer internship program for college students. The intern will provide support on special projects and initiatives, gain hands-on experience, and collaborate with team members on various tasks related to Utilization Management.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data analysis and project deliverables
- Collaborate with team members on projects or initiatives
- Contribute ideas for ideas on improvement, and innovation
- Support the development excel spreadsheets for reports and presentations
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including moving files to a SharePoint site, transferring information to spreadsheets and logging supporting documentation
- Gain hands-on experience in SharePoint, excel, chat GPT
- Shadow team members to learn about Utilization Management processes, BA roles, and functions
Skills
- Current college / university student in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Effective listening and critical thinking skills
- Dependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential information
- Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
