Are you tired of completing another account reconciliation for month-end close? Yeah... so are we. Sitting down for 12 hours to clean up someone else's books isn't our idea of meaningful accounting. So, we decided to flip the industry on itself and do accounting… differently. A bit about us At BFC, we’re no longer a traditional accounting firm. We’ve moved beyond compliance and into Client Accounting Services (CAS) — partnering with small business owners and high-net-worth individuals to plan, optimize, and elevate their financials year-round. Our focus is proactive, not reactive. We use our accounting chops to make a real impact on the financial health and performance of our clients. What do CAS services look like? Glad you asked: • Quarterly financial statement reviews & analysis • * Strategic advisory + tax planning collaboration • * Client advisory and support • * Payroll oversight • * Bookkeeping team leadership • * Tax notice resolution • * And yeah… some nerdy accounting stuff You’ll be a great fit if you: • Enjoy solving problems and helping business owners optimize financial performance • * Want to lead an outsourced bookkeeping team and ensure timely, clean deliverables • * Love quarterly financial reviews — not just doing them, but explaining them to clients in ways that matter • * Are intrigued by spotting patterns, risks, and planning opportunities • * Are comfortable managing payroll accounts, reviewing systems, and handling tax notices • * Can build trust quickly with clients and are proactive in your communication • * Want to grow a team and support junior staff To be considered, you’ll need: • 3+ years in public accounting or client accounting services • * 1+ years of managing a team (even if small — 3 or fewer is fine) • * A CPA license, be an Enrolled Agent, or hold an accounting certification • * Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax planning collaboration • * A deep drive to help clients win with better financial data • What you’ll get when working here: • 100% remote, and will stay that way (we'll even send you a device) • * Company contribution toward health insurance • * Paid parental leave • * Collaborative, fun, no-ego coworkers • * A seat at the table to build a modern accounting advisory team • What to expect next: If you’ve made it this far and you’re thinking “Yes, THIS is what I’ve been looking for” — here’s what’s next: • Submit application • Prescreen interview (15 minutes) • Background / Culture interview (30 minutes) • Technical test (online, ~30 minutes) • Final interview + offer (60 minutes) We can’t wait to meet you. Let’s build something great together. Apply tot his job
