Accounting Manager- Remote, Big 4/Public Acc Needed

As the business continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team and support financial operations. Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role requires experience managing in-house teams and remote overseas accounting support. The ideal candidate should be proficient in NetSuite, possess strong technical accounting skills, and have a deep understanding of inventory accounting. Experience in manufacturing and e-commerce environments is highly valued. The position offers remote flexibility for candidates on the West Coast, with quarterly office visits. Key Responsibilities: • Manage key aspects of accounting operations, including the general ledger, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP standards • Reconcile accounts and proactively resolve discrepancies • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation • Oversee inventory accounting, including cost tracking, valuation, and reporting • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to improve inventory control and streamline processes • Assist with external audits by providing documentation and explanations • Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements and tax filings • Manage both in-house and remote overseas accounting staff • Oversee processes for accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tax, fixed assets, and prepaids • Process monthly transactions for revenue recognition, payroll, and sales tax Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred • Experience in manufacturing is required • 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis on GAAP and inventory accounting • Public/private accounting mix preferred • Proficiency in NetSuite is required • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities • Proven experience leading both in-house and remote teams Apply Job!
