Accounting Manager x 110K - 120K + bonus x Remote

About the position An LA ad agency is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for month-end close, GL accounting, and processing payroll. The Accounting Manager will act as the sole finance professional for the organization. To be successful in this role, the Accounting Manager will need to be hands-on and able to work independently. This position is fully remote. Only candidates who have recent industry experience will be considered. Responsibilities • Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and general ledger management. • Prepare financial statements, monthly/quarterly closings, and tax filings in compliance with regulatory standards. • Manage client billing, revenue recognition, and media reconciliation, ensuring accuracy in project financials. • Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections. • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial requirements. • Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership. • Collaborate with account management and media teams to track project costs, profitability, and margins. • Implement and enhance financial controls, policies, and accounting systems. • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
