本職位採混合辦公模式，以台灣為主要據點，並與馬來西亞總部以及跨國產品、資料與工程團隊緊密合作。

• 你將主導設計產品智能與效能的核心演算法邏輯

• 你設計的邏輯將應用於實際產品，影響數百萬用戶的使用體驗

• 解決包括搜尋排序、推薦、保費定價與詐欺防範在內的複雜業務問題

• 所有代碼將實際上線，而非僅停留在理論或文件中

• 設計並實作個人化推薦、優化、定價與搜尋相關演算法

• 將模糊的產品需求轉化為可落地、結構清晰的演算法解決方案

• 衡量準確性、效能、可擴展性與實作難度間的權衡

• 撰寫高品質、可維運的生產級代碼

• 與資料科學家及工程團隊合作完成模型整合與驗證

• 根據測試與數據回饋持續優化與調整邏輯

• 掌握統計建模與演算法領域的新趨勢並實際應用

• 對實際成果負責 - 在意演算法是否產生真實影響，而非只是準確率

• 能夠在無明確規格下自我推進與創造結構

• 喜歡初創團隊節奏與優先級頻繁變化的環境

• 擅長以第一性原理拆解混亂問題並快速提出可行解法

• 資訊、數學、工程或相關領域學士／碩士學歷

• 2 - 4 年演算法設計、後端開發或系統建構經驗

• 熟悉 Python 或 JavaScript（優先考慮 Python）

• 紮實的演算法、資料結構、效能分析與優化能力

• 曾處理推薦、排序、搜尋、定價等相關實務問題

• 熟悉數學建模、統計分析或數值計算技巧

• 能應對真實場景下的大型資料、極端案例與運算限制

• 常駐台灣，並能與區域團隊進行跨國協作

• 具備機器學習、資料挖掘、統計建模等經驗

• 熟悉圖演算法、最佳化求解器或約束程式設計

• 熟悉雲端服務、容器化部署與分散式系統架構

• 有新創或快速擴張型團隊的工作經驗

Working arrangement: Hybrid (based in Taiwan - flexible remote with office collaboration)

At BJAK, we simplify financial services through scalable, intelligent systems used by millions across Southeast Asia. As an Algorithm Engineer, you’ll architect the logic behind personalization, optimization, pricing, and fraud detection — and see your code directly impact production systems.

This is a hybrid role based in Taiwan, working closely with our HQ in Malaysia and collaborating across product, data, and engineering teams in the region.

• You’ll design core algorithms that drive product intelligence and performance

• Your work will directly shape real-world functionality used by millions

• You’ll solve complex business-critical challenges: search, pricing, recommendation, and fraud

• The logic you design will run live in production — not just in docs or demos

• Build algorithms for personalization, optimization, pricing, and search

• Turn ambiguous product challenges into clear algorithmic strategies

• Analyze trade-offs in accuracy, speed, scalability, and complexity

• Write efficient, production-ready algorithm logic

• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to integrate and validate algorithms

• Continuously improve algorithms based on testing, feedback, and new data

• Apply new trends and techniques from algorithm research and modeling

• Bachelor's or Master’s in CS, Math, Engineering, or related fields

• 2–4 years in algorithm design, backend engineering, or systems development

• Proficient in Python or JavaScript (Python preferred)

• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis

• Experience solving real-world challenges in recommendation, search, pricing, or ranking

• Familiarity with modeling, statistics, or numerical methods

• Comfortable working with large datasets and production constraints

• Must be based in Taiwan and open to hybrid collaboration with regional teams

• ML, data mining, or statistical modeling experience

• Knowledge of optimization solvers, graph algorithms, constraint programming

• Exposure to cloud, containerization, or distributed systems

• Prior experience in a startup or fast-growing company
