This role is for an experienced workers’ compensation defense attorney who wants full remote freedom without sacrificing compensation, support, or quality of work. The practice is busy but well-managed, with realistic caseloads and strong administrative support.
You can be based anywhere in California. Office access is available but optional.

• Workers’ compensation defense matters across California
• Managing a caseload of approximately 80–85 files
• Defending employers, carriers, municipalities, and public entities
• Handling legally complex claims, including specialized and high-profile matters

Compensation and bonuses
• Base salary up to $225,000 depending on experience

Ideal background
• 3+ years of workers’ compensation defense experience (5+ ideal)
• Active California Bar admission
• Comfortable managing an active caseload independently
• Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist designation required for partner track
• Municipal or state fund defense experience a plus
