What You will do
As a QA Engineer, your primary responsibility is ensuring our applications, systems, and products meet the highest quality standards. You'll be working closely with our U.S.-based Product and Engineering teams, as well as collaborating with our Philippine-based Engineering, Operations, and Support teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaboration: Partner with developers, product managers, and designers to understand project requirements, and create effective test plans and strategies.
- Test Execution: Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution using issue tracking systems.
- Testing Types: Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure the reliability of software products.
- Automation: Use automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Cypress and Playwright, to enhance testing efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in design and code reviews, provide feedback for quality improvements, and contribute to automation and process enhancements.
- Monitoring: Analyze test results, report progress, and recommend improvements to enhance overall product quality.
- Stay Current: Keep up with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies.
About you
We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of software development, testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, who can effectively collaborate with our global team. You should have:
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.The ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and domain-specific knowledge.
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Relevant experience with industry-standard tools like TestMo, Cypress, Playwright, and GitHub.
- Proven track record of identifying areas for improvement and driving process enhancements.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including the ability to communicate effectively with both local and U.S.-based teams.
