Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Architect to lead enterprise data and analytics initiatives on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. The role involves architecting, implementing, and governing scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions that drive business insights and AI innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement Azure-based data architecture strategy covering data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouses. - Lead Microsoft Fabric implementation including OneLake, data mesh, governance, and Power BI integration. - Design data pipelines and modernization roadmaps using Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, and Purview. - Architect AI/ML and MLOps frameworks leveraging Azure Machine Learning and Cognitive Services. - Oversee enterprise BI solutions with Power BI for scalable analytics and governance. - Ensure data security, governance, and quality compliance with Azure and Purview standards. - Lead and mentor teams in data engineering, analytics, and AI practices. Required Qualifications: - 10+ years in data architecture/engineering; 5+ years with Azure. - Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. - Certifications: - DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer) - AI-102 (Azure AI Engineer) - DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer) - AWS Data Analytics Specialty - Expertise in: Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Fabric, Power BI, Purview, and ML services. - Strong in data modeling, data governance, and multi-cloud architecture. Preferred: - Certifications: DP-100, DP-300, PL-300. - Experience in Microsoft Fabric adoption, multi-cloud architecture (Azure + AWS), Power BI governance, and Azure AI services. - Knowledge of data mesh, DataOps, MLOps, and Generative AI use cases. Soft Skills: - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management. - Strategic thinker with hands-on technical depth. - Passion for continuous learning and emerging Azure technologies.
