OBJECTIVE To ensure accurate and timely posting of premium dollars received from policy owners and employer groups. To perform policy maintenance as needed, such as lapsing past due accounts. To work with employer groups to reconcile payroll deductions and assist sales staff in the field. RESPONSIBILITIES Reconcile employer list bill payments. Respond to customer phone calls and emails. Research premium accounting historical transactions. Prepare letters, reports, forms, and other documents. QUALIFICATIONS Required: High school diploma or equivalent required. Keyboarding skills of 40 wpm. Working knowledge of computers. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Preferred: Associates degree in accounting preferred. Minimum two years of experience in a billing, accounts receivable, or accounting related field is preferred.
