Bookkeeper - HR Office Savers - Texas - Florida - work from home job Company: HR Office Savers Job description: Position: Experienced Bookkeeper HR Office Savers, Inc. is seeking resumes for a well established family-owned accounting practice looking for an experienced bookkeeper to handle payroll and other accounting functions for small businesses in the local area. Duties/Responsibilities: • Handle payroll processing and related tax activities for multiple small businesses. • Manage various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. • Reconcile financial statements and ensure accuracy of data entries. • Collaborate with clients to provide financial insights and address inquiries. • Maintain organized records and documentation in compliance with industry standards. • Position is virtual/remote based in Texas or Florida. Required Skills/Abilities: • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping roles. • Proficiency in both QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop is essential. • Familiarity with Xero is a plus, though not a mandatory requirement. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling. • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. • Self-motivated and disciplined to work efficiently in a remote environment. • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing client needs.
