Senior Business Consultant – Benefits Tracking Location: Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.) Duration: 9 Months Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree Experience Required: 5–10 Years Position Summary The Senior Business Consultant – Benefits Tracking is responsible for leading benefit realization efforts and supporting revenue cycle optimization initiatives. This role partners closely with Project Managers and Revenue Management Leadership to identify, track, analyze, and report financial and operational performance metrics tied to strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and demonstrates strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Key ResponsibilitiesBenefit Realization & Financial Analysis • Partner with Project Managers to understand initiatives and quantify financial and operational impact. • Identify, develop, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics. • Analyze complex financial data related to revenue cycle functions and operational integration. • Identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership. Reporting & Dashboard Development • Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports. • Prepare and present metrics to Revenue Management Leadership and key stakeholders. • Establish standards and processes for identifying, documenting, and reporting benefit realization metrics. • Support production and reporting of revenue cycle benchmarks and analytics. Operational & Plan Support • Review plan documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs). • Review claims and analyze related data. • Support implementation of new plan design changes in coordination with Third Party Administrators (TPAs). Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree required. • 5–10 years of related experience in financial analysis, revenue cycle, benefits tracking, or business consulting. • Strong proficiency in Excel. • Experience analyzing complex financial and operational datasets. • Ability to develop dashboards and effectively communicate findings. • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently. • Comfortable working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment. • Strong interpersonal skills and consultative mindset. Preferred Qualifications • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues. • Ability to proactively identify interdependencies and ask strategic, thought-provoking questions. • Experience presenting insights using both analytics and storytelling. • Background in healthcare revenue cycle or benefits management. • Experience working with Third Party Administrators (TPAs).
