Status: EXEMPT (salaried) Full-time
Hours worked (typical): 40
*Remote Work: Allowed, but to be considered, candidates must currently reside within the agency’s approved site regions and be able to report to an on-site office at one of our agency locations as part of their regular work schedule. *
PURPOSE: The Administrative Manager Supervisor provides program support while working with agency support departments such as HR, IT, Finance and QI. This position directly supervises the Administrative Managers within each office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervises the Foster Care Administrative Managers directly
- Ensures continuity of Onboarding procedures/processes across foster care program
- Develops processes for assistance of foster care permanency staff through support positions: ex. Legal Screens, ACR packets, Consents, Subsidy tracking, any other tasks needed
- Ensures continuity of filing system across foster care program
- Provides Paycom support for Foster Care Program (ex. Assisting with timecards, entering PTO, EIB, moving employees to correct supervisors etc.)
- Creates badges/access to foster care staff
- Participates/organizes foster care recruitment activities to gain new staff
- Oversees completion of foster care satisfaction surveys and data entry results
- Participates in Foster Care QI meetings
- Oversees agency Secret Santa programs and provide support where needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED
Degree/Field Required: Bachelor's Degree or 5 years’ experience in child welfare and/or management experience. (Related fields will be considered.)
Degree/Field Preferred: N/A (Related fields will be considered.)
Additional Fields of Knowledge Important for the Role: Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Administrative — Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and workplace terminology. Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Personnel and Human Resources — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems. Sociology and Anthropology — Knowledge of group behavior and dynamics, societal trends and influences, human migrations, ethnicity, cultures, and their history and origins.
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years’ experience in child welfare and/or management experience. (For positions that manage staff, the years specified need to be progressive years of management experience. For all positions, the years required can be interchanged with equivalent experience from an advanced degree related to this job and/or with other relevant experience verified by applicant/incumbent).
