Embark on a rewarding career journey with the Thurston Regional Library System as a Community Engagement & Outreach Specialist! We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our growing team in a full-time, remote-based position with a significant focus on delivering library services directly to the communities of Gray's Harbor County. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding access to information and fostering a love of reading within diverse populations.
This multifaceted role is central to our innovative Anywhere Library initiative, utilizing specially equipped mobile library vehicles to bring the library experience to locations where traditional library access may be limited. This includes engaging storytelling sessions for children and adults, providing reader's advisory services, and facilitating access to library materials for those who may face barriers to visiting a traditional library.
This is a newly developing service area, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of library access within our region.
