The Copywriter role involves creating emotive and conversion-focused content, collaborating with teams to enhance brand narratives, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a large team to meet and exceed the design needs for various company accounts
- Contribute to elevating the Turo brand through narrative development, content writing, and conceptual thinking
- Contribute to the production of large-scale CRM lifecycle communications
- Write, edit, and publish concise and compelling brand-voiced content
- Articulate ideas into simple narratives for experience and presentation
- Create headlines, CTAs, hashtags, and body copy for email, in-app, and social platforms
- Work in tandem with our Client Services team to collaborate and develop relationships with our clients in briefing calls and creative presentations
- Responsible for bringing a solid point-of-view with fresh perspectives to the team
- Work with our established processes and meeting assigned deadlines, solving problems where needed with the team and using proactive thought processes and skills
- Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Skills
- Experience as a copywriter is a must, and a background in agency or brand is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of multi-channel digital copy and brand development, especially a background in social media content and copywriting
- Ability to write compelling marketing and content copy that sells
- Confidence in working with other departments and stakeholders such as designers, developers, and clients
- Readiness to work at a fast pace on large marketing campaigns with many assets
- An understanding of the importance of consistency across different touchpoints of a user journey
- Ability to present work to large groups and communicate ideas clearly and enthusiastically
- A collaborative approach to getting things done
- Experience in the e-commerce/retail environment is a plus
