One of our clients, a growing digital political firm, is seeking a Creative Strategist with strong hands-on editing experience to support fast-paced right-of-center political work. This role is fully remote and best suited for an editor-minded creative who can independently turn raw footage into compelling, high-performing digital content.
The Creative Strategist will be responsible for concepting, scripting, editing, and producing short-form digital ads and rapid-response content. This role requires someone who can move quickly, think strategically about performance, and work both independently and collaboratively across creative projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Identifying opportunities in raw and existing footage and turning it into engaging, potentially viral digital ads
• Writing scripts and developing creative concepts aligned with messaging goals
• Editing projects independently from start to finish using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Collaborating with other creatives by handing off projects or stepping in to complete work started by others
• Sourcing footage, locating clips, and using publicly available video to build compelling content
• Responding quickly to time-sensitive requests and tight turnaround deadlines
Desirable experience and qualifications:
• 1 to 5 years of experience in video editing, design, or communications
• Prior experience on Capitol Hill, with a campaign, political committee, or advocacy organization preferred
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Premiere Pro
• Comfort working under pressure in rapid-response or communications-driven environments
• Strong interest in and familiarity with the current media and political landscape
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work on tight timelines
