At arenaflex, we're on a mission to transform the $20 trillion retirement savings market with innovative products, cutting-edge technology, and a world-class team. As a Customer Service & Operations Associate, you'll play a vital role in helping our customers navigate the complexities of retirement savings, ensuring they have a seamless experience and achieve their long-term financial goals.
**About arenaflex**
arenaflex is a pioneering company that's tackling the daunting challenge of retirement savings in the United States. We're dedicated to modernizing the $1 trillion in retirement account transfers that occur annually, which currently involve manual, paper-based processes. By doing so, we're empowering the almost 20 million Americans who change jobs each year with a 401(k) to make informed decisions about their assets, rather than losing them to fees and taxes.
Our commitment to innovation has earned us recognition as one of TIME's 100 Best Inventions and a spot on Forbes' list of the Top 50 Fintech Companies in the US. With $35 million in funding from leading venture capital investors, including RRE Ventures, Canapi Ventures, and Greycroft, we're poised to revolutionize the retirement savings landscape.
**The Role**
As a Customer Service & Operations Associate, you'll be the face of arenaflex, providing exceptional support to our customers as they navigate the complexities of retirement savings. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring customers have a great experience with us, and you'll play a key role in shaping our product roadmap by sharing customer feedback with our product and engineering teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Guide customers through the arenaflex rollover experience, answering their questions through chat, emails, and phone calls
* Develop in-depth knowledge of 401(k)s, rollovers, and IRAs, becoming an expert in these areas
* Communicate with financial institutions and employers on behalf of customers to facilitate transactions, where necessary
* Contribute to our internal knowledge base and external FAQs, synthesizing customer feedback and sharing insights with other team members
* Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
**What You'll Bring:**
* 4+ years of relevant experience in a customer service or client-facing role
* Experience working in the financial industry, preferably with FINRA licenses (e.g., Series 6, 7)
* A strong interest in helping people achieve their financial goals
* Familiarity with customer service best practices and tools
* Ability to work flexible hours if necessary to solve customers' problems
* Experience at a startup or similar fast-paced organization, a plus
**Benefits We Offer:**
* Remote-friendly work environment, with an office space in New York City
* Competitive compensation package (annual salary of $45,000-$52,000) and equity in the company
* Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, with 100% premium coverage for staff and 50% for dependents
