Job Summary
As a Customer Solutions Specialist (CSS), you are the
technical heartbeat of our regional Go-to-Market (GTM) team. This role is
dedicated to bridging the gap between complex technological capabilities and
tangible business success. You will serve as a subject matter expert, providing
high-level technical support and strategic solution design to both our regional
sales teams and a diverse portfolio of clients.
The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of deep
technical proficiency and commercial "presence." You must be
authentically customer-facing—capable of interfacing with prospects to diagnose
the heart of their existing software environments and proposing innovative
solutions that optimize their business processes. We are looking for someone
who can present complex data with gravitas, "joining the dots"
between our technology and the specific business benefits it delivers, all while
maintaining technical credibility through expert expectation management.
In this role, you will:
- Master
the Ecosystem: Become proficient across the Seequent portfolio (including
Leapfrog, Edge, and Central) to provide generalist technical sales support
across multiple industry segments.
- Drive
Growth: Utilize your business acumen to identify expansion opportunities
within existing accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to help clients
achieve their objectives.
- Communicate
Globally: Navigate diverse cultures and communicate effectively with users
of varying English proficiency, delivering high-impact demonstrations both
in-person and virtually.
- Be
Proactive & Analytical: Maintain a hands-on, task-oriented approach to
problem-solving, ensuring quick response times and well-rounded technical
assistance.
This is a pivotal role within a fast-expanding region. It
offers the opportunity to be part of a purpose-driven team, leveraging our
growing footprint to deliver world-class geoscience solutions. Please note:
This role requires significant travel to maintain a strong market orientation
and build face-to-face relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expertise: Become a power-user across the Seequent portfolio
(Leapfrog, Edge, Central) to provide elite technical advisory.
- Solution
Architecting: Analyze client environments and design optimal workflows
that "join the dots" between technology and business benefits.
- Sales
Partnership: Partner with GTM teams to identify opportunities, lead
technical pre-sales engagements, and act as a "CRM champion."
- Market
Intel: Listen to the industry. Gather insights on competitor moves and
user needs to influence our future product roadmap.
- Training
& Presence: Deliver compelling in-person and web-based
demonstrations to everyone from technical users to C-suite executives.
What You Bring
- Background: 5+ years in production or exploration. A degree in Geology, Earth
Sciences, or Engineering is essential.
- Technical
Edge: Proficiency in 3D modeling or GIS software. Experience with
Leapfrog, Edge, or mineral resource estimation (JORC, NI-43-101) is a
major plus.
- Communication: Fluent in English and Russian. Kazakh language skills are a
significant advantage.
- Soft
Skills: A self-starter attitude with the "tenacity" to
manage multiple projects and the "presence" to build instant
technical credibility.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to travel
significantly to visit client sites.
Working Conditions
Mode: Fully home-based.
Travel: Significant regional travel required for client site visits and
demonstrations.
