This entry-level data entry and data-management position is crucial in supporting a telecommunications company in its joint pole inventory management process. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a key role in managing pole data between the telecommunications company, third-party attachers, and power companies. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and efficient data management, escalating any discrepancies to the client or engineer as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate pole data, ensuring seamless communication between the telecommunications company, third-party attachers, and power companies.
• Input data accurately and efficiently into designated databases, such as NJUNS, ALDEN ONE, or SPANS.
• Search for and retrieve information within databases to support data management and verification processes.
• Escalate data discrepancies and issues to the client or engineer in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist team leadership in tracking data pertinent to the joint pole inventory management process.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, to perform tasks and manage data.
• Demonstrate strong personal time management and organization skills to meet productivity and quality standards.

Essential Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows XP, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong personal time management and organization skills.
• Ability to input data accurately and efficiently.
• Experience working with databases and retrieving information.

Preferred Qualifications
