They are looking for entry-level Linux and Python programmers to join the TruLookup application team, where the role involves supporting online automated batch processing services and contributing to both new development and existing systems.
Responsibilities
- You will use your familiarity with Linux and knowledge of Python to support our online automated batch processing service
- You will contribute to a combination of new development as well as supporting existing systems
- Monitor system uptime, take part in Agile software workflow, and develop/execute test cases
Skills
- Fundamental concepts and algorithms from a Computer Science degree or equivalent, including object-oriented programming
- Backend application development experience and design on Linux-based systems
- Familiarity with programming in Python and Bash
- Ability to test code changes through automated and manual testing to find and resolve technical issues
- Knowledge of the git version control system
- Networking experience (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSH)
- Knowledge/experience with SQL
- An understanding of security, encryption, and fault tolerance
- Cloud technology experience
- Good communications and collaboration skills
- Comfort with AI tools to enhance your coding throughput
