Director – Valuations / Forensic Accounting

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Director-Valuations/Forensic Accounting in New York, NY. This is a progressive NY/NJ based full-service CPA/Advisory firm leading advisory, tax and assurance. The Director will be responsible for multiple engagements and projects. Responsibilities: • Gain information about businesses to complete engagements • Lead a team by analyzing data and preparing calculations and reports • Provide financial insight and clarity to clients during engagements, from case development through to expert witness testimony • Effectively handle meetings and calls with clients and opposing parties • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, achieve deadlines are met • Delegate and supervise project assignments • Responsible for staff mentoring and career development • Demonstrate initiative to provide updates and briefings to partners • Help grow existing practice area/book of business while promoting the broad range of the firm's capabilities* CPA, with 10+ years of related industry and consulting experience • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills • Excellent Project Management skills with proven success leading projects • Highly analytical, with expertise in financial analysis • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects • Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality • Flexibility to travel occasionally • Please note remote/work from home options available Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
