Empire Life is looking to hire a Distribution Services Coordinator to join their Retail Operations team. The role involves providing support to distribution partners by ensuring accurate records and facilitating communication to resolve inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Acting as a key point of contact with distribution partners
- Provide prompt and courteous resolution of enquiries from distribution partners and customers through verbal and/or written communication and may be required to make outbound calls to external clients and distribution partners
- Apply critical thinking to screen contracts and related documents to meet established service levels, some of which will be in French and ensures compliance, contractual and regulatory standards are met
- Enter and maintain data into multiple administration systems; review and analyze data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies; ensure database is updated and validated with correct information
- Investigate and analyze simple to complex cases and escalates if required
Skills
- Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Work experience in the financial services industry or the insurance industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, internet and database applications
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail/accuracy
- Well developed communication skills
- Well developed customer relations skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
