Key Responsibilities
- Set up, take down, and maintain workstation equipment at events
- Provide check-in and check-out services, ensuring seamless event execution
- Offer additional administrative support to the team, as necessary, to ensure efficient operations
- Visually scan paper documentation to identify pertinent information, maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Enter and update information into appropriate databases, adhering to strict data validation protocols
- Scan and copy documents, as applicable, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Maintain accurate data in spreadsheets, running reports and entering necessary data into systems of record
- Collaborate with event teams to achieve common goals, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication
- Safeguard all patient information, upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates who have completed higher education
- A valid US driver's license, with a clean driving record
- Be at least 18 years of age, with a minimum of 1+ years' experience in data entry within a medical or dental setting
- Excellent customer service skills, with experience interacting with challenging clientele
- Intermediate technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with medical and/or dental terminology, with a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changes and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Strong concentration and attention to detail, with the ability to perform accurately and efficiently
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous experience working with military databases, including MEDCHART, Medical Protection System (MEDPROS), MEDPROS Web Data Entry (MWDE), Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System (DOEHRS), and Medical Operational Data System (MODS)
- Working knowledge of military regulations and policies related to Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment
- Previous approval for a Common Access Card (CAC), either in the military or as a contractor
- Familiarity with remote work arrangements and digital communication tools
