Job Overview
We offer both full-time and part-time regular employee positions, with a starting pay of $15/hour and the potential to earn up to $16/hour within the first year, plus merit-based increases. Additionally, you will have opportunities to earn bonuses based on meeting Key Job Accountabilities (KJA) after 6, 12, and 24 months. As a remote worker, you will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home in a designated area with company-provided technology equipment. A stable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50 Mbps and 10 Mbps upload speed is required to participate in online meetings and perform your duties effectively.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner, ensuring that all customer interactions are positive and productive.
- Ascertain the nature of the call and record information in the Communication Log, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions.
- Utilize proprietary blithequark systems to look up member information and provide accurate and helpful responses to customer inquiries.
- Forward logs requiring further research to the appropriate department, ensuring that all customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Transfer callers to the appropriate queue if the question is of a more complex issue, such as claims or authorizations, and ensure that customers receive the support they need.
- Manage your time effectively to ensure that calls are answered within required timeframes and that follow-up actions are taken in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding minimum key job accountabilities established for the Customer Service Representative position.
- Document all calls appropriately, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions.
- Attend weekly staff and other meetings to discuss issues, foster teamwork, and stay up-to-date on company news and developments.
- Respond to requests for internal and external customers and/or clients, as required, providing exceptional service and support to all stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning and development.
- A minimum of one year of experience performing customer service duties, with inbound call center experience preferred, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, and the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
