Job Overview
The Customer Service Representative and Community Associate will serve as the primary point of contact for members of the community who interact with arenaflex, providing exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner. This role requires a strong understanding of the adjudication process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the liaison between arenaflex and the community, providing information and support to individuals who have received summonses, schedule hearings, and/or pay fines.
- Respond to community inquiries and concerns, ensuring that all members of the community understand the adjudication process and have access to timely and accurate information.
- Investigate and attempt to resolve complaints from the public, ensuring that cases are processed in a timely manner to minimize wait time for the public.
- Review, confirm, and ensure accurate information is provided to members of the community who have been issued summonses, so they understand what they need to do.
- Assist in all aspects of processing cases efficiently when members of the public appear for hearings, ensuring that the public has timely access to justice.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community-centered activities in an area related to the duties described above.
- Alternatively, candidates may have education and/or experience which is equivalent to the above requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates will possess:
- Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe, with knowledge of Excel.
- Office experience and a demonstrable background dealing with members of the public.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A history of volunteerism, such as service in the AmericCorps or Peace Corps, is viewed favorably.
