We're seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Customer Service Representative (Concierge Associate) to join our member services team. As a Concierge Associate, you'll be the voice of blithequark, providing top-notch support to our members via phone, chat, and email. Your expertise will help members navigate their healthcare benefits and find the right care for their needs.
About the Role
This role is a fantastic opportunity to grow within a dynamic startup environment. As a Concierge Associate, you'll become an expert on blithequark's product, operations, and member needs. You'll work closely with our members, understanding their concerns and providing personalized support to resolve their issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to our members via phone, chat, and email, offering education and guidance to help them understand their benefits and find the right healthcare providers.
- Follow best practices for handling member inquiries and suggest improvements as needed to ensure seamless support.
- Maintain a high level of organization within blithequark's platform and tools, including Zendesk and G Suite, to ensure efficient issue resolution.
- Relay member feedback to product and operations teams to improve blithequark's solution and enhance the overall member experience.
- Triage and escalate complex and urgent member care needs, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Maintain a detail-oriented working knowledge of employer health benefits and insurance to provide accurate guidance to members.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- A passion for helping people solve their problems, with the ability to think creatively and empathetically, and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and concise responses.
- A high level of process-orientation, digital organization, and resourcefulness to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
- A commitment to blithequark's mission to improve the healthcare system and make a positive impact on people's lives.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experience can enhance your application:
- Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field.
- Familiarity with healthcare benefits, insurance, and medical terminology.
- Experience working with customer service software, such as Zendesk.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
