**Key Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
* Utilizing arenaflex's solution information section methodology and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system.
* Handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and entering refill orders for processing.
* Investigating to obtain missing medication data, deciphering clinical shortenings (SIG codes), and resolving all information section-related exceptions.
* Handling correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and making outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary.
* Resolving external exceptions by assessing, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements.
* Making phone calls to support plans and others to obtain data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise resolve external exceptions.
* Providing assistance to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations.
* Identifying and conveying issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
**Essential Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
* Fundamental level computer skills, including:
+ Starting and closing a computer
+ Using a mouse to point and click
+ Starting and closing programs
+ Switching between programs
+ Saving files
+ Printing reports or accessing data online
* Essential web search tools skills, including:
+ Opening a program
+ Composing in URLs in the correct location
+ Using a web search engine
+ Bookmarking a website
+ Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons
+ Completing forms online
* Moderate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports)
* Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
**Preferred Qualifications:**
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a strong candidate for this role:
* At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment
* No less than one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a license/enrollment by state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency
* Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction
* Moderate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing reports)
* Familiarity with Spanish and English
