Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a remote worker, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home in California, providing top-notch support to our customers and contributing to the success of our organization. This is a 6-month contract position with a high potential for extension, offering a competitive pay rate of $18.83 per hour on a W2 contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to provide information and respond to inquiries about products and services
• Handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Determine the root cause of customer issues and offer possible solutions or provide follow-up as needed
• Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills
• Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments
• Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 0-2 years of customer service-related experience, particularly in high call volume environments
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software
• Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
• Proficiency in computer software navigation and dual screens is essential
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle complex calls, demonstrate critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• A pharmacy background is preferred but not mandatory
• Bi-lingual candidates who speak Hmong, Spanish, or Mien are preferred
