**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for assisting members with their pharmacy benefit plans, taking inbound calls, and answering questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions. You will offer solutions to help simplify their healthcare experience, while also learning more about healthcare and expanding your own experiences. This is a full-time position with flexible work schedule options, allowing you to balance priorities in and outside of work.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist members with their pharmacy benefit plans, including prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions
* Take inbound calls and answer questions regarding pharmacy benefit plans
* Offer solutions to help simplify members' healthcare experience
* Learn more about healthcare and expand your own experiences
* Work from home with a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance priorities in and outside of work
* Maintain a secure workspace free from distractions and adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements
**Qualifications:**
* 1 year of experience interacting with customers (i.e., call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, military experience)
* Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications
* Associates degree or equivalent experience
* Ability to problem-solve in a positive, productive manner
* Comfortable relating to customers in a patient, helpful way that demonstrates a genuine concern for improving the customer quality of life
* Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards
* Ability to exhibit patience and empathy and express assurance and confidence
* Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism
* Strong oral, interpersonal, and communication skills
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in a healthcare or customer service environment
* Knowledge of pharmacy benefit plans and healthcare regulations
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
* Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
