**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs, and providing assistance to drive sales growth. You will learn about our products and services, and provide information to customers to sell entire projects. You will work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments to ensure a safe and shop-able environment for customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs and providing assistance to drive sales growth
* Learn about products and services using our tools and provide information to customers to sell entire projects
* Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
* Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, immediately correcting hazards & unsafe conditions, or reporting conditions to the Manager on Duty
* Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
* Participate in sales promotions, events, and activities to drive sales growth and customer engagement
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or sales environment
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Strong product knowledge and sales skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 2+ years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or sales environment
* Experience working in a sales-driven environment with a focus on customer satisfaction
* Knowledge of sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service principles
