About the Role: Chat Representative

Key Responsibilities:

• Express genuine empathy and concern for customers' issues, addressing them as if they were your own
• Answer, evaluate, and prioritize requests from customers having questions or experiencing problems with services or products
• Identify high-risk customer situations and escalate them appropriately without hesitation
• Manage multiple chats simultaneously, accurately documenting all required information and chat details in the ticketing system
• Respond to and resolve open issues in an appropriate timeframe, identifying trends related to systems, platforms, and/or customers and escalating them to management as needed
• Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions
• Cross-train as requested, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances

Essential Qualifications:

• A genuine love of music, with a strong knowledge of current music artists, particularly in the Pop and Country genres
• 1-3 years of call center chat experience, with technical experience strongly preferred (experience with Zendesk is a plus)
• Ability to type 30 wpm with 90% accuracy or above consistently, with strong messaging communication skills and active listening abilities
• Excellent grammar and knowledge of text and chat acronyms, with the ability to use them effectively in customer interactions
• Previous work-from-home experience preferred, with a great understanding of contact center support metrics and the ability to implement actions for improvement
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Hardware/Software Requirements:

• Your own computer with an Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater processor (must have 4 cores)
• 8GB of memory on Windows 10 or higher (64 bits), with a screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher and dual monitors required (with webcam)
• USB headset and up-to-date antivirus software installed on the platform, with a recent scan completed
• Must be hardwired to a router with a firewall enabled (will be checked prior to allowing login to the system)
