About the Role
The Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for handling a high volume of customer inquiries and issues related to our hearing care solutions through various communication channels, including phone, email, fax, and mail. This position requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal abilities to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. As a CSS, you will be the face of arenaflex, providing timely and effective solutions to our customers' needs, and contributing to the company's overall sales efforts and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers via multiple communication channels, determining requirements, answering inquiries, resolving problems, fulfilling requests, maintaining client databases, and updating customer profiles.
- Maintain a high inbound call answer rate, with an average of 75-80 calls per day, ensuring prompt and efficient service to our customers.
- Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching and exploring alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved problems to the appropriate team when necessary.
- Redirect complex or specialized concerns to the relevant team for follow-up, such as audiology inquiries or technical product support, to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to product shipments, returns, credits, and orders, communicating company policies and pricing per our price and policy guide.
- Assist with billing questions, pricing, and warranty inquiries, as well as order status and tracking inquiries, to provide comprehensive support to our customers.
- Manage backorders for sales territories and assist with web services and case management to ensure efficient operations.
- Handle customer complaints with urgency and ensure satisfactory resolution, working cross-functionally to deliver an effortless customer experience.
- Consistently meet stated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of quality and integrity.
Requirements
To succeed as a Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will need:
- Minimum 2 years of B2B Customer Service experience or minimum 3 years of B2C Customer Service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus, as well as experience with SAP and order management systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a variety of situations and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong typing proficiency and computer skills, with intermediate skills in Microsoft Applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
