Key Responsibilities
- Work with large, complex datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform critical business decisions
- Develop ETLs (Extract, Transform, Load) and processes to pull data from multiple sources, centralizing it in a single table
- Create data visualizations using Tableau to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges
- Engage with team members and cross-functional groups to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs
- Partner with Operations, Finance, and Product teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems
- Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks, including metrics prioritization and outlier detection
- Document processes and share expertise with colleagues, mentoring peers as you become a Subject Matter Expert
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience)
- Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau Dashboards (1-2 years of experience)
- Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to identify and root cause business problems, and a Supply Chain background (ideally with transportation experience)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau
- Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages
- Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
