As a Data Analyst II in our Data Ventures team, you'll play a pivotal role in unraveling customer behavior, identifying trends, and informing product development.
Job Synopsis
We're seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst II to join our Data Ventures team. In this role, you'll be responsible for researching, gathering, and analyzing customer data to drive business insights. Your work will be instrumental in shaping our product development strategies, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the safety and security of our data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and product partners to identify trends and opportunities
- Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to provide actionable insights
- Define and evaluate key performance metrics for new product launches
- Create data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of product initiatives and business challenges
- Identify new drivers to improve financial data insights and understand underlying drivers for changes in metrics
- Lead exploratory data analysis, including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis
- Work effectively cross-functionally and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong exploratory data analysis skills and the ability to make logical, data-driven recommendations
- Experience with languages used to manipulate data and extract insights from large datasets (SQL, Python, Presult, etc.)
- Solid storytelling experience with data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
- Experience with data quality tools and quality testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or Tosca
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, having the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- A Graduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience in data science, data analysis, statistics, or a related field
- Related industry experience (retail, marketing, healthcare, e-commerce, etc.)
- Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and programming languages (SQL, Python, Flash, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau)
