Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team, responsible for developing and implementing quantitative models and predictive analytics to drive business growth and improve customer experiences. As a key member of our data science team, you'll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify business opportunities, design and implement data-driven solutions, and communicate insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex statistical models and predictive analytics to drive business growth and improve customer experiences
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Design and implement data-driven solutions to address business challenges and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in quantitative modeling and predictive analytics, preferably in the financial services industry
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SAS
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques
- Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as Teradata, HiveQL, or SQL
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Certifications in data science or analytics, such as Certified Data Scientist (CDS) or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
