Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and focused Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our databases by collecting and capturing data in a timely and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities
- Collect and capture data from various sources, including employees and customers, to update our databases in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform data entry tasks, including typing, faxing, and operating data entry devices to perform keypunching, data entry, and verification duties
- Review and verify data prior to entry to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary
- Provide entry-level administrative support to the data entry function, including preparing information for data entry and performing routine clerical tasks
- Perform high-volume data entry work, including data entry of new applications, credits, and other relevant information
- Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and established protocols
- Train new data entry employees on computer systems and provide support as needed
- Ensure timely data entry and file management, and perform daily audits and data entry corrections to maintain data integrity
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers
- Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency in data entry tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as experience with data entry software and systems
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications would be an asset in this role:
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently
- Knowledge of EMR systems and experience with data entry in a healthcare or related setting
