The Role: Driving Technical Excellence and Business Success
As our ideal Development Manager, you will be the linchpin between our business solution leads, business analysts, and technical teams, ensuring the seamless coordination of new and enhanced capabilities from ideation to delivery and maintenance. Your expertise will be crucial in prioritizing project deliverables, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring the timely completion of high-quality project tasks. You'll be an active participant in software design meetings, code reviews, and change management planning, upholding our department's standards and documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Leading with Vision and Expertise
- Manage a successful technical team, driving the delivery of new capabilities through the IT POD team framework.
- Act as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
- Prioritize project deliverables, assign tasks, and ensure on-time completion with high quality.
- Participate in software design meetings, code reviews, and change management planning.
- Ensure adherence to department standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management within and outside the IT department.
- Drive project management processes, templates, and standards.
- Foster a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Promote team building, skills development, and cross-coordination among developers.
- Participate in Community of Practice activities for professional development.
Essential Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in Supply Chain systems, with a focus on Warehouse Management.
- Hands-on experience with a range of technologies, including C#, Java, XML, SQL Server, Oracle, REST API, microservices, PL-SQL, Responsive UI, CSS, jQuery, Web Services, API Development, SQL, and query writing.
- Experience working with Cloud and Cloud Native technologies such as Azure, GCP, AWS Services, CI/CD, Containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements for developers with varying levels of experience.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall Development Methodologies.
- Expert time management, organization, and leadership skills.

- Experience in leading process improvement initiatives.
