This dual-role position is designed for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can provide exceptional phlebotomy services across multiple locations and perform accurate and timely data entry to support our clinical and administrative operations. As a Floater Phlebotomist and Data Entry Analyst at blithequark, you will be responsible for traveling between assigned locations, performing blood draws and other specimen collections, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during specimen collection. You will also be responsible for entering patient, specimen, and test information into laboratory information systems with high accuracy, reviewing and verifying data for completeness and correctness, and compiling, organizing, and analyzing data for reporting purposes.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. Certification in phlebotomy is required if mandated by the state, and you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in phlebotomy and data entry, with experience in a healthcare setting preferred. You should also have a minimum of 2 years of IOP experience.
