Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for processing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for various investments. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of customer transactions, as well as identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities
- Process exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles, recognizing and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and the fund business or transfer representatives.
- Handle Corporate Activity Events, settle/reconcile transfer activity, and process/reconcile returns activity.
- Perform research on complex/escalated concerns, test/validation of new innovation improvements, and provider modifications.
- Complete projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Company Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor account.
- Communicate with Retail and Institutional Company Teams through email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce.
- Work closely with TD Ameritrade Cleaning in daily connections with fund companies, transfer brokers, opposite organizations, and other outside business partners.
Tasks Analysis
As an Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and resolving various tasks, including:
- Customer review of membership deals or transactions demands.
- Client/Advisor level exceptions.
- Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3).
- Settlement of Business, Dividend, and Transfer Breaks.
- Reconciliation around BOS and Fund Companies.
- Evaluation and analysis of applicable income tax code and corrections of income tax coding.
Trouble Resolving
You will be responsible for resolving internal/external body enhancements or concerns, including:
- Origin of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
- Delivering method or innovation answer choices to Control.
- Remediating transmission problems with the Fund or Contra Agency.
- Providing act on Choice Investment moves to expedite the customer request or remediate not in good order concerns.
- Well-timed and correct conclusion of client investing and returns requests.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred but not required:
- Experience in the financial industry or a related field.
- Knowledge of regulatory commitments and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
