Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Airbnb host/administrative assistant to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. As a key member of our remote team, you will be responsible for managing up to 20 short-term rental properties, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless guest experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Answering inquiries and responding to guest requests within 10 minutes, 6 days a week, between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm
- Managing guest reservations, including check-ins, check-outs, and cancellations
- Daily monitoring of Housekeeping and ensuring that properties are clean and well-maintained
- Dispatching maintenance techs for repairs as needed and resolving any issues that may arise
- Providing exceptional customer service via phone or in-person to ensure a positive guest experience
- Conducting regular property inspections and assisting guests with any issues they may have
- Filing damage claims and resolving any disputes that may arise
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an Airbnb host/administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to respond to inquiries within 10 minutes
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple reservations simultaneously
- High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (for property inspections and other tasks)
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications would be an asset:
- Experience with property management software and other relevant tools
- Knowledge of the Los Angeles area and local amenities
- Ability to speak multiple languages (a plus, but not required)
- Experience with damage claims and dispute resolution
