If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Job Summary:** We're seeking a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our 3rd shift team, working from 11pm to 7am. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for performing approvals of consumer loans, making payment arrangements, and assisting customers with any questions or concerns. You'll work closely with potential clients and our financial institution to ensure a seamless and efficient loan process. **Responsibilities and Duties:** As a Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: * Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to communicate with customers and potential clients * Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts * Using basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions * Speaking clearly, concisely, and effectively; listening to, and understanding information and ideas as presented verbally * Maintaining a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism when speaking to customers * Following written and/or verbal instructions * Working within the laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures * Processing card payments accurately * Performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems * Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan * Following up with customers to clarify important points * Finalizing loan details and keeping customers informed about rules and obligations * Remaining up to speed regarding lending and other financial services * Creating and renewing records * Identifying customer needs, exploring all options available to customers * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and change quickly with the needs of the company * Ability to multi-task by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously * Meeting monthly individual goals as set by management **Required Skills:** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Excellent Customer Service skills * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills * Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and navigate tense situations * Proficient with technology, especially computers, software applications, and phone systems **Preferred Education and/or Experience:** While a minimum of a High school diploma/GED is required, we encourage candidates with relevant experience in customer service, finance, or a related field to apply. **Technical Skills:** * Proficient use of MS: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook * Proficient user of the Internet and cloud-based storage **Working Conditions / Physical Demands:** As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll need to: * Be able to sit for long periods of time, talking and listening constantly * Sit for extended periods of time * Work a 3rd shift schedule from 11pm to 7am * Participate in a fully remote work environment after an initial 1-week training period (training will be 8am-5pm M-F during the first week) **Why Join arenaflex?** At arenaflex, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.
