Blithequark is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Incident Response Team as a Network Protection Examiner Understudy. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to create quality technical solutions
- Ensure solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business strategies, and departmental standards
- Manage time spans for planning, coding, testing, and implementing to guarantee solutions are delivered on time and within budget
- Act as a resource to ensure effective communications among business and Innovation teams
- Participate in systems and acceptance testing
- Scope of work varies depending on the team assignment
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of technical environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Fundamental knowledge of data security and risk mitigation principles, concepts, and techniques
- Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm
- Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
- Basic knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement
- Major comprehension of project management methodologies, including the ability to plan, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program
- Ability to convey effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical resources
- Openness to Agile methodologies
- Coursework or experience connected with Cybersecurity
- Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous projects under close deadlines
- Past investigator internship experience within the last year
- Experience solving business problems in a capstone or case competition
