**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll work closely with our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure seamless operations and provide a unique and delightful customer experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Utilize pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug records, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry
* Process prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets, verifying medication accuracy, and checking for potential interactions
* Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow
* Register all related sales on assigned cash register, collect and handle coins as required
* Take customers to the OTC aisle to assist in finding merchandise
* Handle telephone calls that don't require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians
* Method (correct and resubmit) claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner
* Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the store manager
* Assist and support Pharmacy department on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs
* Maintain knowledge of company asset safety procedures and document claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order mistakes, or broken goods related to Rx capsules
**Essential Qualifications**
* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
* Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
* Prefer previous work experience with arenaflex
* Desire math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medicines
* Desire computer skills
* Desire knowledge of store inventory management
* Prefer PTCB certification

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, business, or computer science)
* Experience with pharmacy systems and software
* Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
