Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate outbound calls and live chat interactions with direct consumers to identify travel needs, present/explain cruise products, and make travel recommendations.
- Establish and maintain quality customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service, establishing rapport, identifying and meeting customer needs and expectations.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with new and existing consumers, maintaining a prospect list/contact database to identify client travel trends.
- Proactively and consistently seek opportunities to promote and sell cruise products based on client travel history.
- Acquire in-depth industry and company knowledge to articulate cruise product features, benefits, pricing, and make recommendations.
- Attend and actively participate in daily team meetings or relevant sales training to ensure appropriate sales techniques are being used and accurate information is being communicated to direct consumers.
- Participate in department-approved mass e-mail campaigns targeting specific guests' profiles.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum one year of sales experience required.
- 2 years of sales experience preferred, with a background in cruise sales a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with direct guests on the telephone and internally.
- Strong working knowledge of blithequark's products, including the current fleet and ship itineraries.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a high-energy sales environment that is goal/quota driven.
- Adherence to strictly enforced dress code required (even though this is a remote position).

M, Tue, Thur, Sat & Sun (split shift): 6am-10am & 5pm-9pm
M, Wed, Fri, Sat & Sun (split shift): 8am-12pm & 7pm-11pm
- You must be available to any possible schedule, you will be assigned an open schedule based on the needs of the company. Are you open to ANY possible hours above?
