In this critical position, you will work closely with arenaflex's Art, Design, and Engineering teams to identify workflow inefficiencies, pain points, and challenges in the game development process. Your primary objective will be to collaborate with the team to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, implement the selected solution, and facilitate its adoption by the team. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting, developing, and maintaining arenaflex's existing set of engine-specific and custom tools, as well as building and guiding custom asset pipelines to support the growth of the company's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and platforms.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong passion for empowering others to do their best work. You should enjoy working with the overall tool lifecycle, from discovering issues to comparing potential solutions, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness. Experience with custom standalone gear and growing gear that can be utilized by many game development disciplines is also essential. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, and Python is required, as well as the ability to work effectively in a self-directed environment.
