Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry and Management: Input data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, update order statuses for customers, and double-check work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Data Verification and Quality Control: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check the output to ensure data integrity.
- Research and Data Collection: Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents, and compile, verify, and sort information according to priorities.
- Data Program Techniques and Procedures: Apply data program techniques and procedures to generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
- Document Management: Scan documents and print files as needed, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Confidentiality and Security: Keep information confidential and maintain the security of our data and systems.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, including typing accuracy and speed, and ability to learn new software applications.
- Basic Knowledge of Touch Typing System and Database Management Tools: Familiarity with touch typing systems and database management tools, including data entry software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately input data into computer systems.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to think analytically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Data Entry Clerk: Previous experience working as a Data Entry Clerk or in a related field.
