Job Overview
As a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional support to our customers via inbound calls. Your primary goal will be to assist customers with their accounts, toll invoices, technical assistance, and DMV registration holds, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls from customers, providing timely and effective support to resolve their queries and concerns
- Quickly and accurately identify and assess individual customer needs, taking appropriate action steps to satisfy those needs
- Project patience, empathy, caring, and sincerity in voice tone and words, establishing rapport with customers over the phone
- Communicate clearly and succinctly, expressing thoughts and information in a way that is easy for customers to understand
- Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Be flexible, adjust quickly, and react positively to change, demonstrating the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with others
- Participate in special projects as required, contributing to the success of the team and the company as a whole
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume call center environment
- Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Outstanding attendance and work ethic, with a strong ability to navigate multiple systems while speaking with customers
- Self-motivation, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking, with the ability to work well in a team setting
- Good typing and keyboarding skills, with the ability to pass a typing test
- Ability and openness to work professionally with a diverse customer base, demonstrating respect and empathy for all customers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a contact center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Knowledge of accounts receivable, collections, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the industry and its regulations
- Proficiency in multiple software systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly and easily
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English
