About the Role
As a Virtual Customer Service Representative at Wayfair, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-notch experiences to our clients. You'll work from the comfort of your own home, handling a variety of post-order issues, such as delivery questions, damages, returns, substitutions, and more. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service via inbound calls, chats, and messages, addressing a range of topics, including returns, substitutions, delivery, product availability, and order status.
- Listen actively and empathetically to understand customer concerns, using internal resources to find effective solutions.
- De-escalate customer concerns, balancing client needs with business options while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Think critically to resolve customer issues in a first-contact resolution approach, without relying on pre-populated scripts.
- Navigate multiple programs, tabs, tools, and separate requests to quickly and efficiently answer customer questions.
- Identify areas for improvement and share insights with leadership to help drive continuous improvement.
- Meet or exceed customer satisfaction and efficiency metrics, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in every interaction.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and comprehension).
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal breaks, handling a high volume of calls (50-60 per shift).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or virtual environment.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms or similar industries.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
